Where are the Camp Canada summer camps?
One of the most asked questions we get is “Where in Canada are your summer camps” So here is everything you need to know about the locations of the summer camps we work with at Camp Canada!
Where in Canada are the summer camps that you work with?
At Camp Canada, we work with hundreds of summer camps across Canada. The majority of the camps that we work with are located in Ontario but we also work with ones in Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
What types of summer camps do you work with?
Across the provinces, there are a few different types of summer camps, including traditional, faith-based, special needs, and underprivileged backgrounds camps. When completing your application, you will have the opportunity to specify your preferred type of camp.
Do you have to speak French to go to a camp in Quebec?
Yes, but not always. We work with many summer camps in Quebec but not all of them require you to speak French. You will only be placed at a French-speaking camp if you express your preference for it in your application. In this case, being bilingual, a native French speaker, or having a background in studying French would be essential.
Can I choose my Location?
If you have a specific location preference for your camp placement, you can let us know and we will make a note of it on your application. However, we cannot always guarantee your preference as it depends on the Camp Directors staffing needs and work permit eligibility.
Remember, you will have plenty of time to travel around Canada after your placement at camp.
We would highly recommend that you research your camps before any interviews. This will help you determine whether the camp's environment and location align with your preferences and suitability.
