Both cities also have airports, and you can fly into either of them to begin your journey in Saskatchewan. Saskatoon

Saskatoon is the largest city in the province, situated along the picturesque South Saskatchewan River. With it’s natural beauty, cultural diversity, and thriving arts scene, it's a perfect destination that offers something for everyone.

It provides endless opportunities to get active, embrace nature and admire the picturesque landscapes with places such as The Meewasin Valley Trail, Pike Lake or Blackstrap which are great for outdoor activities. The city also embraces a diverse community and is home to The Wanuskewin Heritage Park which is a sacred gathering place for Indigenous cultures. It is hopefully on the road to becoming the first UNESCO World Heritage site in Saskatchewan!

Moose Jaw got its name from the Indigenous Cree name for the area, "moose gaw," which refers to the shape of a moose's jawbone. The city is known for its historical significance and attractions including the notable landmark the Moose Jaw Tunnels.

The tunnels were originally built as an underground network for steam heat and power, but during the Prohibition era in the 1920s, they became used for illegal activities, including bootlegging and gambling. Today, visitors can take guided tours of the tunnels to learn about this intriguing part of Moose Jaw's history.

Moose Jaw is home to the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Base Moose Jaw and various cultural and recreational facilities.
